01

Varma therapy

Traditional, hands-on care

This ancient Indian practice focuses on stimulating specific vital energy points across the body. Practitioners apply precise pressure to these vital nodes to release blockages, restore natural energy flow, and treat various physical ailments, particularly joint and muscle pain.

Tell us about recent injuries, operations or any area that is especially sensitive.

02

Dorn

Manual therapy approaches

A gentle, manual approach used to correct misalignments in the spine and joints. Instead of forceful adjustments, it relies on light pressure applied while the patient actively moves, safely guiding the joints back into their proper, natural positions.

Share any history of fractures, osteoporosis, spinal surgery or new nerve-related symptoms.

02

Chiropractic

Manual therapy approaches

This hands-on healthcare profession focuses on the spine and nervous system. Practitioners use manual manipulation to adjust misaligned joints, aiming to relieve pain, improve mobility, and help the body heal itself without relying on medication or invasive procedures.

Share any history of fractures, osteoporosis, spinal surgery or new nerve-related symptoms.

03

Acupuncture

A treatment option to discuss

These techniques focus on balancing the body’s energy flow through specific pathways. Acupuncture involves inserting ultra-thin needles into targeted points on the skin, while acupressure uses firm physical touch on those same points to relieve pain and promote healing.

Tell the practitioner if you are pregnant, take blood-thinning medicine or have a bleeding disorder.

04

Foot reflex

Time for relaxation

Foot reflex involves pressure applied to selected areas of the feet. It can be discussed as a relaxation-focused option; it should not be used to diagnose disease or replace necessary medical treatment.

Mention foot wounds, reduced sensation, circulation concerns or recent injury before a session.

05

Therapeutic Yoga

Movement at your pace

This practice adapts traditional physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to address specific health needs. It is customized for each individual, offering a gentle way to manage pain, reduce stress, improve flexibility, and support physical and emotional recovery.

Pranayama and meditation may be included where suitable. You do not need to be flexible to ask about starting.

06

Naturopathy & lifestyle

Support for your daily routine

This approach emphasizes the body’s inherent ability to heal itself. Practitioners focus on identifying the root causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms, utilizing natural methods like nutritional counseling, dietary changes, and lifestyle adjustments to restore overall health.

Do not stop prescribed medicines or ongoing treatment without advice from your treating clinician.

06

Ayurveda

Support for your daily routine

An ancient holistic health system from India that focuses on creating balance between the mind, body, and spirit. It uses personalized diets, lifestyle routines, and natural blends based on your unique body constitution to prevent illness and promote longevity.

Do not stop prescribed medicines or ongoing treatment without advice from your treating clinician.

Pain & movement concerns

Start with what
you’re experiencing.

02

Neck pain

03

Knee pain

Knee discomfort and stiffness that can make walking, climbing stairs or getting up from a chair more difficult.

04

Shoulder pain

Shoulder discomfort or limited movement affecting reaching, lifting, dressing and other day-to-day activities.

05

Sciatica

Pain travelling from the lower back or hip into the leg, sometimes accompanied by tingling or numbness.

06
